Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide briefing to relevant members of staff. All Directors have been briefed on the subject.

The business does not operate in a sector which is vulnerable to forced labour and there is no predominance of low-paid unskilled labour in the railway engineering consultancy sector. If supply chain companies import goods from sources from outside the UK and EU which are potentially more at risk for slavery/human trafficking issues, the level of management control required for these sources will be continually monitored.

The company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

Permarail Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain.

The Company Director and line managers shall take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources (training, etc) and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within Permarail Ltd and within its supply chain.

A full copy of this policy and a copy of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 will be accessible to all employees electronically and can be obtained from the Company Director upon request.
