East Coast Mainline PSU2

Permarail has been engaged by Siemens Mobility Limited to provide EMC support to its East Coast Mainline power supply upgrade (Phase 2) project team.

The PSU2 programme covers the route between Doncaster and Edinburgh and involves the design and installation of new feeder stations and substations along the route. This will provide significant capacity upgrades, a new 132kv connection at Hambleton junction and upgrades to existing power supply connections. In addition, two new static frequency converters will be provided at 132 kV supply points.

Permarail is providing key EMC surveying and testing services to the project.
