London Bridge Station Upgrade

London Bridge station has recently been redeveloped to increase the capacity for train services terminating and passing through the station. This upgrade has required the installation of new electrical equipment including HV supplies, transformers, main and sub-main LV distribution, UPS, as well as extensive new station equipment including escalators, lifts, lighting, public address systems and information displays. In addition to the station facilities, extensive new retail space has been provided.

Permarail was engaged by the project to carry out extensive EMC testing to demonstrate compliance with the relevant requirements, the testing included:

  • RFI measurements on the public concourse

  • EMF measurements in public areas and in electrical switchrooms

  • Harmonic current measurements at HV switchboards to demonstrate compliance with ENA EREC G5/4-1 planning levels

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
